20 Dec 2015 – Mae Sot – Mae Hong Son 400km

Last night (if you still want to call it night time) we have only 3 hours of sleep. Yes, you may notice that it was only 400km but from here onwards it is all curves.

After a quick breakfast at the hotel, the journey continues. It was beautiful and amazing view with a cold breeze throughout the ride.

Just before we reached Mae Sariang,  there it is… The moment of truth…

From that point onwards, there is no more roads… A lot of off roading because of the roadworks. I think around 30% of the entire ride but it was fun nevertheless.

We had our lunch at Mae Sariang at arount 12.30pm. Good lunch. Finally food…  

Continuing our journey was smooth. There’s a lot of beautiful scenery along the route it was mesmerising.

When we reached Mae Hong Son, we then decided to stay a night there.  Before checking in the hotel, we went to get our self the Mae Hong Son loop certificate.

After checking in,  we went for dinner.  Most shop were closed but we managed to get the shop owner to cook for us.

It was a nice local dishes. After dinner we went to the market just in front of our Hotel. I got a shirt with Mae hong Son written on it and also a Ducati Monster picture printed on the shirt.  That is perfect for me since I rode a Monster for the loop.
