Island & Tea Ride (Day 2)

15 September 2013. We started our morning with breakfast at Erra Restaurant. It was buffet style, at RM5, it was more than enough.

After breakfast and check out, we went for a refuel at Brinchang area then went to the Sg. Palas BOH tea plantation.

It was a hectic ride there passes the tea plantation with only 1 lane. Traffic was bad but we manage to squeeze our way through.

We had a few sips of tea and photo session then we went for a stop at a local machine shop to repair Wan’s throttle as it was loose.

After the MacGyver session, we headed to Gua Musang via Lodging. I have been to this road once but heading the other way around. Coupled with a nice scenery and a curvey road, riding our way there is magestic.

We were off schedule and delayed a few hours because of the tea plantation visit and the machine shop visit. We stop at a restaurant for a quick air kelapa drink before heading our way to Gua Musang.

After refuel at Gua Musang, we then heades to Epul’s parents house for lunch (yes, a late lunch for us). We arrived around 4pm. After Epul’s parent house for lunch we stop at Epul’s in laws for a feast for fruits. We really stuffed.

Our break was cut short as we did not have much time left while the could showing signs that it will rain. However, riding up Banding no rain falls upon us. The Banding route really amazed me and I am sure that everyone in our group loves their ride there.

We stop at Hentian Titiwangsa, a must stop for me when going through this route. As usual this spot we had our photo session.

After a quick smoke we head to Banding Lakeside Inn to check in there. We arrive close to 7pm at our hotel. Being through this route, everyone has their own story. It was indeed a nice ride. I always believe that by doing actual riding, one can have even more experience and be better at riding.
