19 Dec 2015 – Pra Chuap Khiri Khan – Kanchanaburi – Mae Sot 800km
After around 9 hours of sleep, we start the day with a quick breakfast and went straight to Hua Hin for lunch. Sebab bangun dah lambat. Since I have this issue with the timing and battery, i went looking out for a battery. Luck was not on my side in Pra Chuap Khiri Khan so I continue searching along the way.
Luckily I found one shop near the main road towards Hua Hin and buy 1 battery for my Monster.
As for fuel, i try to fill it with 91. I was suprised that my idling issue and battery issue gone. Maybe it has something to do with the fuel quality or my bike magically resolve it.
Upon arrival at Hua Hin, we notice this park with 7 huge statues called the RajaBhakti Park, and we went inside for a quick pix.
We had our lunch near a beach in Hua Hin. Even though we were a little bit behind schedule, we still went ahead for the Death Railway at Kanchanaburi.
It was built by the Prisoner Of War (POW), during the WW2 and was bombed a number of times.
When we arrived the clock is already at 5pm local time. We then continue our journey towards Mae Sot (it is still quite far from our current location).
Riding in a foreign land in the dark leaves a no margin of error, our focused stayed glued to the road throughout the journey with several stops for refueling our bikes and also out self.
Tak – Mae Sot road sure makes me remember my Bali Ride. Cold, dark and seems never ending .
Finally, we arrived at Mae Sot around 1.30am local time. We checked in with the rest 2 others and makes our party complete with 4 bikes. My bike was the smallest of the bunch and also not a DP type bike. Hopefully everything went smoothly.
