Pulau Banding Ride 2013 with OGC Bikers

Pulau Banding or Tasik Banding to some, located on top of a hill area near Grik, Perak. Located on Banjaran Titiwangsa it is truly a breathtaking experience. Even is located in Perak, we head there using a longer way round, from KL-Bentong -Kuala Lipis-Raub-Gua Musang-Jeli-Pulau Banding.

Pulau Banding is actually the entrance to the Royal Belum Rainforest. It is a forest reserved area for people to enjoy outdoor activities on natural grounds.

There are 4 of us, 2 street bike and 2 super sports. Our concern mostly for the sports bike that have small tank for not enough fuel. We plan our route and set that for every 150km we need to at least refuel.

Our ride is quite interesting as I am the lead and never been there using this route. We just ride and go with the flow. We even make a wrong turn to Kuala Krai and corrected our ride to Dabong. It is scary because there are no Petrol Station around and afraid that we get stranded there. The road is nice, we had fun nevertheless. Without using GPS, we ride our way to through.Finally we found 1 petrol station near Jeli.

We then head further to a stall for lunch. After the meal we ride through the twisty up and rest at Hentian Titiwangsa for some pictures.
